I just discovered this place a few weeks ago and I love it! They have everything. Regarding COVID-19, staff wears a mask, but I suggest going at times that are less busy, purely for distancing.
***this is Groceries of the Orient 2*** Updating my review: It has become a weekly stop for me. Despite the smallness, they have the fresh green vegetables I need, from bok choy, Chinese broccoli, string green beans, papaya, bean sprouts, and herbs to shrimp, oysters, & mussels. I frequent their deli for their papaya salads (other salads available too), chicken wings, fish, sausages, & egg rolls. It seems they do catering too. One day I walked in and they were prepping for a big order. The parking lot is pretty dainty (small) but people really just go in and out to get what they need and leave right away. Service is prompt. I have no complaints about this one. (At least not anymore.) The owner(s) are kind and I believe her mom (grandma) works in the deli who preps and cooks most everything. Humble, local place to shop.
It is a small little Laotian grocery store that has a good selection of Asian sauces, vegetables, meats, seafood, ramen, rice, candy, health & beauty products. They have a deli in the back of the store (ring the bell if you don't see the ladies--they're hard at work in the back! ) with made-to-order dishes or appetizers in the warming tray. Depending on the day, the prepackaged deli foods shift (some days there will be pickled greens other days might have pickled fish) Highly recommend trying papaya salad, it is sooooooooo good. And don't forget to order some sticky rice or chicken wings to go with it! Parking lot has limited spots, due to its small lot, so you might get blocked in depending where you parked.
